Capt. Daniel Bodwell (1692 - 1787)

Daniel was one of the five selectmen on the board, August 2, 1726. In 1754, Captain Daniel Bodwell was a member of the 4th Regiment of Militia, Essex County. He served from 1754-1769. He conducted "Bodwell's ferry."
