Son of: Nathaniel 1800
Martin served as a Private in Company E., 22nd Maine
Infantry. Martin is also listed as a Private in the famous 20th
Maine Infantry of "Killer Angels" fame, although more
research is needed to determine if he was with the Regiment during
the battle of Gettysburg. Oral family tradition holds that Martin
