Son of: Harry 1829
Harry W. Bodwell grew up in San Francisco and attended the University of
California. For many years he was a civil engineer and later in life a
bookkeeper for the Larsalere Company, commission merchants, and at the time of
his death he was a partner in the same firm. He and his wife owned a home in
Alameda, which they sold when they moved to Burlingame. DAR Records of the
Families of California Pioneers, Vol. 24, p. 13.
The San Francisco Directory of 1890 lists Harry W. Bodwell as bookkeeper for W. R. Larzalere & Co. and residing at 331 Bartlett Street.
