Isaac Bodwell, Jr. (1822-1864)

Isaac was a Corporal in the 17^th Regiment, Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry. He enlisted July 22, 1861; and mustered out Aug 3, 1864.

Isaac was a Private in the 2^nd Regiment, Massachusetts Volunteer Heavy Artillery, Company F. At the time of his enlistment he was a shoemaker. He enlisted and mustered Sept 6 1864, and died of disease Dec 12, 1864. Roll of Honor Index, Vol. 10, p. 157 has his death as 8 Nov 1864. Isaac is interred at Old Cemetary, New Bern, North Carolina.
